The incredible bond between an animal and their person is undeniable. From the human perspective, we cherish our pets and consider them to be vital members of our family-and we hope they feel the same about us. Through my portrait series, "People, Pets, Portraiture," I capture the essence of the indelible, yet difficult to describe, connection between humans and their pets. These images serve as a love letter to our furry, feathery and scaly friends, and an act of recognition of the remarkable and positive role they play in our lives. I photographed animals of all kinds to embrace different connections whether it be a dog, gecko, or chicken.
